What do you guys think of having the ability to send MLB players down to the MiLB team? Once sent down they'd have a time period (2 days maybe?) where they could be claimed. Their salary would still count against their team's cap. Any thing to add, take out, or any other thoughts?

I am not a fan, our rosters are big already with 11 bench spots with 5 DL spots on top of that.
Our minors is for building for the future with up and coming talent. Not for stashing under performers/extra DL spots/whatever else this is attempting to solve for.
What are the thoughts behind why this is necessary?

What about for players that are demoted in real life?

they are likely demoted in real life because they suck. you can make the choice to stash them on your roster or release them. We have plenty of flexibility in our rosters to do either.
