Just wanted to throw some ideas out for the league
1) Start the playoffs a week earlier? With all the skipped starts, rests, and manic scheduling of the last week of playoffs, it seems like it's very unpredictable to adjust for as a dynasty squad
2) bring back the prospect streaming rule we had from our previous league (5 days I believe), allowing no advantage of expanded rosters. Something the ex-Pirates were the original culprits for lol
3) With expanded September rosters, players who are done for the season or who are out for a significant time cannot be placed in IL. We think it would be fair to include that option as timing of injuries is unpredictable. One team should not benefit from IL while one is forced to roster a player out for a long time based off the timing of injury
We feel the above proposed changes are worth a discussion at least, so drop in your thoughts guys!

Explain number 2 a little more. Is it you can only have them up for 5 days? Or 5 days at a time then they have to be sent back down?

Don't really remember the rule exactly how many days it was before, but if a prospect is called down they can't be called back up for 5 days or so

Injuries killed my chances in the playoffs, so I can back these proposals. I also think if a team signs and drops a player they can't resign him for at least 30 days. I've usually seen 60 in other similar leagues.

My quick thoughts on the proposals:
1) I think its smart to move up the finals if its easy enough to change those settings.
2) I dont think we ever removed the rule, just stopped enforcing. Its a pain to enforce. Will need to figure out how it'll be enforced or what consequences are for not following the rules if its mostly self-enforced.
3) I agree this is annoying the way real teams dont bother to put guys on the DL after roster expansion, but our rosters are really large. We've got 11 bench spots. I'd say its unnecessary but if Taylor wants to make a case by case ruling on whether players should be allowed to be dropped to DL even though they are not actually on the DL then i could probably live with that.

It is a pain to have all those guys on the IL, that's for sure. One thing I will say is there shouldn't be an option to drop guys more than the regular max IL slot; i.e. if you have 6 guys who are injured and who would normally be on the IL, if max IL slots are 5 (which I'm pretty sure is the number) I'd say you can drop 5 guys but still have to keep 1 guy on the roster. Would be the same as having 5 guys on the IL in June and another IL guy on the bench, which I'm sure has happened to teams before.

Should we put these up to a vote too
If we are gonna reinforce the old rule for prospect call ups then it was the 1 or 2 week minimum (can't remember the number) waiting period before a prospect could be called up after Calle down?
