2 yr 1m Not sure why my bid was invalid. We're in the "playoff freeze" mode - basically only teams that are still left in the playoffs round by round are allowed to be making moves/signings, which means it's only the Red Sox or Cards who can bid on guys. All bids starting from playoffs onwards are 1 year max only, so Lugo will be a free agent in the offseason no matter what. Just don't want teams out of the playoffs (like you or me) taking players away from the teams that are left and affecting that matchup. Hope that explanation helps, if not PM me and we can talk it out. |
