As mentioned in the contraction draft rules, each team is given the opportunity for a free, one-time drop of a contract without penalty in order to make room for the contracts of players drafted in the contraction draft. Please post here the player that you will be dropping under this rule.
The free drop will remain open until the contraction draft finishes, so you have until the end of the draft to decide. You can always decide before to drop a player as well. However, if a drop hasn't been declared before the end of the draft, you lose the one-time drop. Can't carry it forward to other years or even to the rest of the offseason.
