The Rules for the (hopefully) one-time Contraction Draft are as follows:
4 teams are up for contraction: The Rays, Braves, Rockies and Giants. The remaining 16 teams will hold a 5 round draft to pick from the MLB and MiLB rosters of those 4 teams and disperse the players and prospects.
Draft order is based on the final standings of the 2015 MLBGM league. The draft order is fixed (not snake) - 1-16, 1-16, 1-16, 1-16, 1-16. Contraction draft picks are available for trade up until the end of the draft.
Accompanying the contraction draft are two major threads, please see below;

Hopefully, this will be a one-time thing and we'll be able to keep 16 teams permanently moving forward. Any questions with the two major threads let the LMs know and/or discuss here.
