This is a proposal for a minimum bid increase, when bidding on any free agent at any time. The minimum bid increases would be:
Salary .1M-10M = .1M minimum increase
Salary >10M-20M = .25M increase
Salary >20M-30M = .5M increase
To clarify a player who's current bid is 10M would be eligible for a .1M bid increase, however a current bid of 10.01M would necessitate a .25M bid increase. I included the ">" signs to hopefully help clear any discrepancies with that.
The idea would be to help speed up free agency bidding processes and to save from petty (I'll 100% say I play into this game) bidding wars. If anyone likes the idea but thinks there's some way to tweak it, please leave feedback. Thanks!
