Teams must reach the salary cap floor of $50 million each year. The cap floor is $50 million in players actually on the roster, not cap sent away in trades. Teams should also be trying to fill a full team - if we're seeing you call up prospects nowhere near the majors to start them or to gain more prospect slots on your roster, that will be met with a warning and penalties could follows. Trying to keep everybody competitive and not totally tanking!
