Teams will post here whether they accept or decline their prospect options for MiLB players with an option for 2016.
For our new owners, a quick explanation of the prospect option is this:
Once a prospect passes either 50IP or 130ABs in a year, the next offseason the team owner has to decide whether to give them a guaranteed contract or not. Until they pass that threshold their salary for the year is $0.3M and can be called up/sent down at any time. The guaranteed contract (if given) is 0.5M for the next year, 1M for the year after, followed by 3 more years of team control through arbitration (or eligible for extension after the 1M year). If you choose not to offer your prospect a guaranteed contract they become a free agent. Extension rules still apply if they are signed as a free agent after their option is declined.
A decision on prospect options is due by the start of free agency (some unnamed date in January once an ESPN league is set up). The prospect options are as follows:
